Bad start for the ladies

E-mail Print PDF

Moylagh ladies have suffered two great blows to the start of their championship campaign. Last friday saw Clan na Gael take two points with a well deserved win over a lethargic looking Moylagh side. Things got worse when Blackhall Gaels showed up in full force on Tuesday and ran riot on a depleted Moylagh team.

We will look to thursday where we will be fighting for our first win in the Feis cup against Walterstown in Moylagh at 7.45

Ballivor    1-10

Moylagh  0-9

Moylagh suffered their first defeat in all competitions this year, with both teams fielding without a number of regular players.

With eyes on the junior championship, Ballivor came away from Moylagh with two points as Moylagh missed a first half penalty and were a point behind at the break.

Despite the best efforts of Kevin Foley, Maruis Quinn and Peter Fox, Moylagh were unable to keep with Ballivor
