St. Brigids  0-4

Moylagh easily defeated neighbours St Brigids in the A League in Mallbrook on Thursday night. St Brigids were severely understrength and while the winners took their time turning possession into scores, the result was never in question.

Moylagh paid the price of playing the first half of this match with only 14 men as the Michaels ran up a 2-13 to 0-1 half time lead. Philip Grall arrived for the second half and the Moylagh team now playing with the full compliment turned in an outstanding second half performance with old stager Paddy McCormack and corner back Stefan Friary popping up for a goal appiece. They outscored their victors by 2-5 to 0-2 to end their campaign on a positive note with good performances from Eanna and Aengus Fanning, Sean og Doyne and Kevin Brody.
