Moylagh              2-10

Drumbaragh         0-10

Despite hitting 12 wides, Moylagh had 6 points to spare over neighbours Drumbaragh in this Junior Quarter Final in Carnaross on Sunday evening. A Justin O Reilly goal helped Moylagh into a 1-5 to 0-7 half time lead, with Joe Melia, Ronan O Reilly and Eanna Brody also kicking some fine points.

Drumbaragh levelled on the restart when Willie Carry showed his marker Mickey Ted Quinn a clean pair of heals to fire over a nice point but Moylagh took over after that opening up a 3 point lead with 15 minutes left. Both sides exchanged points before Willie McGrath found the net to open up 6 point lead and when Colm Fanning sent over 2 points to open it up to an 8 point gap it was as good as over. Drumbaragh cut the deficit to 6 before the end of the game but it was always going to be Moylaghs day.
