Result: MOYLAGH  2-17 TRIM  2-06.

Moylagh traveled to Athboy on Sunday morning knowing a win would put them through to the semi final of the Championship.

A couple of early Eana Brody and Stephen Tierney points helped Moylagh off to the better start and even with a sloppy Trim goal just before the break Moylagh still led 0-10 to 1-03.

Moylagh stepped up a gear in the second half and goals from Sean Og Doyne and Morris Quinn gave Moylagh the cushion they needed.

Trim put the Moylagh backs under pressure for the last ten minutes but the full back line stood firm with Phil Grall in excellent form.

Best for Moylagh were Philip Grall, Eana Brody, Owen Gilsenan and Eamon Boyle.
