Moylagh  2-15 Sallins  1-05

Moylagh scored a convincing win over Sallins of Kildare in the quarter final of the Leinster Junior hurling championship played in Moylagh on Sunday.

After a slow start a point from full forward Paddy Rahill put Moylagh ahead and from then on they dominated the game.

A goal from midfielder Owen Gilsenan and points from Willy McGrath,Paddy Gilsenan, and Kevin Foley had Moylagh 1-09 to 1-1 ahead at half time.

Coach Jimmy Boyle in his half time team talk emphasized the importance of a early score in the second half and Paddy Grall did just that with a brilliant long range point after about two minutes. After that Moylagh were home and dry and played some brilliant hurling with all the forwards and the two midfielders getting on the scoresheet.

It was a good all round team performance by the boys in green with Eamon Boyle dominating from centre back and Eanna Brody and Eoin Gilsenan again brilliant in midfield. Paddy Gilsenan and Kevin Foley stood out in the forwards
