Moylagh ladies made it two in a row against their neighbours last night! Moylagh got off to a great start scoring the opening 3 points. Despite being down a player before half time we managed to keep the scores up getting ahead by 3 points. Oldcastle put up a great battle by keeping the scores close. Scoring the second goal brought the game to life again and Moylagh showed great hunger for the ball. Fitness was shown throughout the game by both teams. Well done to all.

Moylagh 1-11 St.Brigids 4-9
Despite having the better of the game in the first half Moylagh were unable to push on after the break and lost out to their neighbours in a spirited local derby.
Moylagh had raced into a 5 point lead at half time with a scoreline of 9 points to 4. However a quick-fire 1-2 from St.Brigids within 5 minutes of the re-start dealt Moylagh a body blow from which they never truly recovered. The Ballinacree side added another 1-2 to a single point for Moylagh to establish a 4 point lead with ten minutes remaining. Moylagh were thrown a life line with a well taken goal from Paddy Grall closing the gap to a single point.
